SDSN Bulgaria is officially launched

We are excited to announce that SDSN Bulgaria was launched this week by the Rector of University of National and World Economy Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and the President of the Republic of Bulgaria (2012 – 2017) Rosen Plevneliev.

Guillaume Lafortune, Vice President and Head of the SDSN office in Paris, and Prof. Phoebe Koundouri, Co-Chair of SDSN Europe and SDSN Greece, were keynote speakers at the event.

Among the official guests were also Assoc. Prof. Michael Musov, Co-chair of SDSN Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Sheryo Nozharov, Vice-Chairman of SDSN Bulgaria, representatives of the SDSN Bulgaria members Varna Free University “Chernorizetz Hrabar”, Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, and Trakia University – Stara Zagora, Nikolaos Theodosiou, Chair of SDSN Black Sea, as well as representatives of Ministry of Innovation and Growth, the National Statistical Institute, the Bulgarian National Audit Office, the Higher School of Insurance and Finance, the National Youth Forum and the UNWE Student Council.

SDSN Bulgaria joins SDSN’s 50+ national and regional networks in their mission of advancing the SDGs locally and globally.
