OECD, SDSN and the European Committee of the Regions have launched a survey
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), SDSN and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) have launched a survey to take stock of the progress made by cities and regions in implementing the SDGs.
The survey will help assess how the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact SDG implementation and analyze how current crises such as the war in Ukraine are affecting progress on the SDGs, particularly with regards to the cost of living, energy and food, which have emerged as political priorities in the current context.
Cities, regions and other subnational governments in the EU are invited to participate in the survey.
Responses will help showcase the continuous commitment of regions and cities on SDGs and provide guidance on how to use them to respond to an uncertain geopolitical context and its impacts on the cost of living, energy and food.
This survey will also support the OECD Programme on a Territorial Approach to the SDGs. Its results will be used to produce an OECD-SDSN policy paper and a CoR map showcasing the commitment of EU regions and cities on SDGs. These will contribute to the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and the SDG Summit.
This survey is targeted to sub-national governments only (local, provincial, metropolitan, regional). It should take 15 minutes to complete and follows up to previous surveys conducted by the CoR and the OECD on localizing the SDGs.
The survey is available in all EU languages; to select your preferred language, click on the drop-down menu on the right of the screen
The survey is open until March 24th 2023 at midnight CET.
All responses will be kept confidential.
